I still get that quiet, focused feeling walking into a well‑lit room — the same one I used to feel in a gallery. Light falls across a staircase, a shadow cuts a corner, and suddenly the space becomes a subject. The work gathered here comes out of that instinct: to read a building the way you’d read a photograph, looking for what it wants to say.
Interior Photography
- Victorian Townhouse, Bath — A series built around natural light and original period details, commissioned by a luxury estate agent.
- Modernist Loft, London — Clean volumes and a restrained palette, shot to emphasise the flow between cooking, living, and sleeping areas.
- Coastal Retreat, Cornwall — Soft textures, muted tones, and the particular stillness of a seaside home in winter.
- Georgian Terrace, Edinburgh — Balancing the grandeur of high ceilings with the intimacy of a family kitchen.
Architectural Studies
- The Atrium, Manchester — A study of vertical space, reflection, and the way glass carries light through a commercial building.
- Brutalist Library, Birmingham — Texture, geometry, and the unexpected warmth of concrete in the right light.
- Glasshouse Extension, Surrey — How a contemporary structure sits inside a traditional garden, photographed across a single afternoon.
Property Stories
- From Empty to Inviting — A before‑and‑after visual sequence made for a home‑staging company, showing how considered photography can shift perception of the same four walls.
- A Day in the Life of a Cottage — Following morning light as it moves through the rooms of a Cotswolds stone cottage, from the kitchen at dawn to the bedroom at dusk.
These projects were made in collaboration with estate agents, interior designers, and private homeowners. Each one is approached with the same patience I’d bring to a gallery print — because every room, every building, has a moment worth waiting for.
If you have a space that needs telling, I’d be glad to hear about it.
